Rockefeller Center - New York City
Hunter House Hamburgers was born in 1952 featuring sliders, little hamburgers with juicy, sweet onions smashed into the meat and the buns steamed hot. This icon of Americana is going to be demolished and replaced with a new high rise building. As I was driving on Woodward Avenue, I was attracted by this retro architecture. I pulled into the parking lot. At the same time I had the good fortune of being there when a 1950's station wagon arrived and parked in just the right spot. Love this little piece of history, and I'm a vegetarian.
